Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Part Time

Role And Responsibilities Perform laboratory testing, operate instrumentation, and ensure specimen quality within a healthcare setting.Evaluate specimen acceptability and suitability for testing following departmental standards.Conduct routine and complex laboratory procedures using proper methodologies.Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment for optimal performance.Perform preventive maintenance, quality control, and reagent preparation tasks.Generate accurate and timely test results while maintaining a safe work environment. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.One or more years of clinical laboratory testing experience or MLS degree.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems.Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.ASCP or AMT certification is preferred.
