Job Duties

• Performing clinical laboratory procedures and examinations, including maintaining equipment and records, and conducting quality assurance activities.
• Conducting microbiological, virological, serological, chemical, immunohematological, hematological, biophysical, cytogenetical, cytological, or histological procedures and examinations.
• Performing blood banking tasks such as collection, processing, storage, and distribution of human blood, blood components, or derivatives.
• Providing prompt and accurate laboratory test results.
• Preparing products for transfusion in support of patient care.
• Using knowledge and understanding of theory to independently solve problems and answer questions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Chemistry, Biology, Medical Technology, or Medical Laboratory Science.
• One year of clinical laboratory experience.
• A license from NYS ED as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, or licensure eligibility with a limited permit or limited license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• Availability for 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts and weekends as needed.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary Range: $73,486.40 - $110,219.20 per year.
