Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Bio Monitoring

Role Overview The Technologist Trainee will perform clinical testing procedures in a Toxicology/Bio Monitoring laboratory, operating laboratory instruments, and ensuring specimen quality and accurate result reporting. Key Responsibilities Evaluate specimen acceptability based on established criteriaPerform routine and complex technical procedures following departmental protocolsOperate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentationExecute quality control and preventative maintenance, documenting all activitiesProvide timely and precise test results to support patient care Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical TechnologyAbility to pass a standardized color blindness testProficiency with computers and laboratory information systemsStrong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skillsPreferred: 3+ months of clinical laboratory testing experiencePreferred: ASCP or AMT certification
