Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests, from routine to more complex procedures
  • Accurately analyze and interpret data to support diagnosis and treatment
  • Maintain quality and safety standards within the lab
  • Assist with specialized duties, including limited blood banking with additional training
  • Support the onboarding and training of new team members
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a smooth, high-performing lab environment

Qualifications

  • License Requirement: License to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technician or Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York; or Eligibility for licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technician in the State of New York.
  • Education and Experience: Associate's degree in Medical Technology or a related health care discipline. Two (2) years of full-time experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technician.

Pay

The starting annual salary for the Clinical Laboratory Technician I is $50,425 and the pay can range dependent on experience. There will be an additional geographic differential of $2.20/Hr and assignment pay differential of $4.00/Hr. This can also include a full comprehensive benefits package.
