Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Per Diem

Required Skills

• Technical skills in laboratory science

Required Experience

• Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license (CLS) or National Medical Technologist license (MT, ASCP) or MTE-Microbiology
• Eighteen (18) months previous CLS experience in an acute care hospital

Responsibilities

Performs all laboratory testing and related duties within the assigned sections and provides accurate and timely results.

Adheres to the assigned department’s standard operating procedure, quality assurance policy, regulatory compliance, and hospital policies.

Provides guidance and oversight for department laboratory assistants, including but not limited to conducting training and competency.

Qualifications

Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license (CLS) or National Medical Technologist license (MT, ASCP) or MTE-Microbiology

Eighteen (18) months previous CLS experience in an acute care hospital
