Clinical Lab Technologist MSMH

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen ss to support patient diagnosis and treatment
• Ensure proper handling of specimens for subsequent analysis
• Organize work to prioritize tasks effectively
• Operate under guiding behaviors, standards, and Core Values
• May perform Charge Technologist duties if required by NYS regulations
• Assume operational functions including patient and QC review, log sheet review, emergency scheduling, and communications
• Manage instrument service deployment and adhere to safety protocols
• Support laboratory leadership and perform other operational duties requiring leadership action

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Medical Technology or related field required
• Valid NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist limited permit or full license required
• Experience from an accredited hospital-based clinical rotation
• At least six (6) years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist if acting as a Charge Technologist
