About the role

The Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) position at Corona Regional Medical Center operates the Laboratory by performing specialized tasks involving medical laboratory testing. Reporting to the Senior C.L.S./Supervisor, this role assists in the operation of the Laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the operation of the Laboratory by performing specialized tasks involving medical laboratory testing.
• Performs and reports results of tests and assumes responsibility for accuracy.
• Affords assistance in training and orientation of new technologists.
• Directs work of laboratory assistants and auxiliary personnel.
• Maintains working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures.
• Understands and complies with all quality control policies.

Requirements

• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License required.
• 1 year experience in hospital or clinical lab.
