Clinical Lab Scientist - Sharp Chula Vista - Variable Shifts - Per Diem

This is a per diem position with 8-hour variable shifts. Weekend work is required every other weekend. On-call is not required.

Pay

The hourly pay range is $54.67 – $79.00, with a midpoint of $70.54. The actual pay rate and pay grade will depend on factors such as years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other position requirements, and employer business practices.

Responsibilities

Provides the technical knowledge, expertise, and judgment required to support the Sharp HealthCare (SHC) mission and scope of laboratory services.

Requirements

• Education required for California State CLS or CLS specialty
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Generalist license – CA Department of Public Health

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical laboratory as a CLS (preferred)
• ASCP certification (preferred)
