Clinical Lab Scientist BB

About the role

Join our team as a Clinical Lab Scientist BB at Paoli Hospital and perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological testing to aid in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of disease. This role requires Blood Bank experience and is eligible for a $6,750 sign-on bonus.

Work with the latest technology alongside a top-notch interdisciplinary team to support patients and the community. This position offers a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including every other weekend (Friday and Saturday) and every other holiday (3 total per year).

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures outlined in the laboratory procedure manual, including specimen processing, test performance, and reporting test results.
• Utilize laboratory computer systems to support testing and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
