Responsibilities
- Provides courteous and professional assistance to other staff members and physicians.
- Performs tests of waived and nonwaived complexity in all sections of the laboratory.
- Follows procedures for quality control and assurance.
- Correctly documents all work performed.
- Oversees the work of lab assistants.
- Forms skin, arterial, and venipuncture collections necessary.
- Afford regulatory compliance activities at the direction of section supervisors and the lab manager.
Qualifications And Skills
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
