Clinical Lab Scientist
About the Role
Under the supervision of a Laboratory Supervisor, the Clinical Lab Scientist is responsible for specimen processing, test performance, test result reporting, clerical, and patient care support services with a high level of accuracy, precision, and timeliness while ensuring compliance with departmental and regulatory agency standards.

- Comprehensive heart and vascular care
- Advanced stroke treatment
- Cancer care in partnership with Keck Medicine of USC
- Women's imaging and breast health services
- Emergency and trauma care
- Cardiac rehabilitation and wellness programs
As part of Los Angeles County's STEMI receiving network, the hospital provides lifesaving cardiac intervention through the state-of-the-art Roberta G. Veloz Cardiac Cath Lab.
Requirements
- CLS training in a USA program or, if foreign-trained, experience in a hospital-based laboratory located in the USA
- Current California CLS License
- BS/BA degree
- 1-2 years of previous experience preferred
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) and ability to follow verbal instructions with minimal supervision
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills

Pay
Opening pay range: $47.98 to $76.76 per hour.
