Clinical Lab Scientist 4 (CLS/MT) - Nights

Responsibilities

• Maintains instrumentation and work area.
• Maintains quality control and calibration functions.
• Provides training and assesses competencies.
• Consistently completes testing within established time frames.
• Recognizes and addresses issues within the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and Medical Technology (MT) certification with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent.
• Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988.
• Four (4) years of laboratory experience as an MLT/HT (internal CLS2); OR
• Two (2) years of laboratory experience as a MT/HTL (internal CLS3). (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience.)
• Registered with ASCP (or eligible for registry) as a Medical Technologist or equivalent.

Pay

$26.77–$43.71 per hour, depending on previous experience. Position qualifies for a $3.00 per hour night shift differential.

Schedule

Wednesday – Friday, night shift. Regular full-time position.
