Clinical Instructor of Emergency Medicine (Fellow)

Position Details

The position is designed for physicians who are board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM) and who demonstrate excellence in clinical care, teaching, and scholarly engagement. Fellows will receive advanced training while contributing to the supervision and education of residents and medical students.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must hold an active and unrestricted California medical license by the start of the fellowship.
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine.
  • Must meet all Medical Board of California licensing requirements, including:
    • Completion of an accredited residency program.

Additional Considerations

  • USC considers multiple factors when extending offers, including scope of responsibilities, candidate qualifications, internal equity, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • All fellows must complete institutional credentialing and privileging prior to clinical duties.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000-$110,000.
