The UMKC School of Dentistry, founded in 1881, is the only public dental school in Missouri and Kansas, offering eight fully accredited programs, including advanced education in general dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, and orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. Located on UMKC's Health Sciences Campus alongside the Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing and Health Studies, the School provides outstanding education, extensive hands-on clinical training, and real-world community service. About the Role
The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry is seeking a Dental Hygienist to fill the position of Clinical Instructor in the Periodontics Department. This is an unranked faculty appointment. The department is responsible for pre-doctoral and dental specialty students, patient care, and service in periodontics.
Responsibilities
- Pre-doctoral classroom and clinical instruction in periodontics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene.
- Must be eligible for and obtain the appropriate Missouri Dental Hygiene License prior to starting employment.
