Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist - PRN

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement early intervention program consisting of performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examination, providing first aid per OSHA standards and education on injury prevention
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programs
• Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures
• Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date record
• Participate in meetings and task forces

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education program
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
• Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in specialty areas (Ergonomic Specialty) preferred
• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety
• Knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred
• Experience in Ergonomics preferred

Schedule

PRN (as-needed) schedule with shifts based on business needs. Potential shift hours: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Must be flexible to work varying shifts as needed.
