Key Responsibilities
- Help manage day-to-day pharmacy operations with other pharmacists while ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and accreditation standards.
- Supervise technicians, and support staff to maintain a high-performing, collaborative team.
- Oversee clinical review and interpretation of medication orders to ensure safe, accurate, and appropriate therapy.
- Partner with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and adjust medication therapies based on clinical response, lab results, and patient feedback.
- Educate patients and healthcare teams on drug therapy, side effects, and administration techniques.
- Maintain quality assurance procedures and aseptic standards in the preparation and delivery of IV medications.
- Participate in strategic planning and implementation as we open new pharmacy locations.
- Conduct medication reconciliation during patient transitions to ensure continuity of care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice (Florida).
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- In-depth understanding of infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with aseptic technique and sterile product preparation.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
- Residency training or equivalent post-graduate clinical experience is a plus.
