About the role
The Informatics/Compliance Pharmacist supports the Pharmacy Information system and CPOE system. They provide professional consultative oversight to the maintenance, upgrading, evaluation, and implementation of pharmacy systems and associated automation systems. Responsibilities include maintaining and optimizing clinical content in the pharmacy information system.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Pharmacy Information system and CPOE system
- Provides professional consultative oversight to the maintenance, upgrading, evaluation, and implementation of pharmacy systems and associated automation systems
- Maintains and optimizes clinical content in the pharmacy information system
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree preferred
- Licensed Pharmacist with the State of Tennessee
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
- Experience with hospital pharmacy information systems, hospital information systems, and financial systems required
- Advanced understanding of Meditech Magic highly desirable
- ASLS certification preferred
