Clinical Hospital Educator

Responsibilities

• Cook up and coordinate in-service education programs for all staff.
• Assist in assessing educational needs and strategizing effective plans.
• Contribute to policy development and equipment integration.
• Build partnerships with local schools and students on clinical rotations.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to plan and implement educational initiatives.
• Facilitate the implementation of new competencies and equipment.
• Train staff in new hire orientation and assist in general hospital orientation.
• Provide education on compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Ensure training requirements and standards for Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies are met.

Qualifications

• Active clinical license.
• Appropriate education to obtain and maintain required licensure.
• Previous experience as an Educator preferred.
• CPR certification.
• If a Registered Nurse, CRRN certification preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, or nights as needed.
