Responsibilities
- Congducting diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning for newly referred patients
- Provision of individual and group behavioral interventions
- Collaboration with physicians and other multidisciplinary staff for direct patient care
- Collection of outcome data related to clinical care
- Engagement in community outreach
- Participation in departmental meetings and activities
- Participation in training, supervision, and consultation activities
- Maintenance of charts on all clients in accordance with Quality Assurance policies and procedures
Requirements
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical psychology from an APA-approved graduate program
- Licensure as a licensed psychologist in the State of Connecticut
- Experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Experience in obesity medicine
- Commitment to program development
