Position Overview

The Ohio State University, Division of Human Genetics is seeking a dynamic genetic counselor for a clinical excellence faculty position in the growing clinical care area of Medical genetics.

Performance Objectives

Clinical faculty members are dedicated to academic clinical practice, education, and translational research in adult genetic specialties. Our genetic counselor faculty collaborate closely with physicians and staff throughout the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Responsibilities include active participation in the provision of clinical genetic services in our general genetics clinics; teaching genetic counseling graduate students, medical students, residents, and fellows; working on genetic research programs.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Required: Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling
  • Professional board certification in genetic counseling
