Clinical Finance Business Partner

Target PR Range: 72-87/hr Depending on experience Overview The Clinical Finance Business Partner serves as the primary finance partner supporting Clinical Operations and R&D stakeholders during a transition period. This individual will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business analysis for assigned clinical studies and development programs. The successful candidate will bring strong FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and business partnering experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry and will be able to translate evolving clinical and operational activities into meaningful financial insights and recommendations. This assignment is intended to provide interim support during a leadership transition and may provide an opportunity for consideration for a future permanent role, based on business need and individual performance. Key Qualification And Responsibilities Maintain assigned clinical study financial trackers, including actual true-ups, forecasting, month-end close, CRO contract and PO tracking and variance analysis. Partner with key stakeholder, and oversee CRO/vendor financial activities 5–7 years of relevant Finance/FP&A or business experience, with good clinical development exposure. Support other projects and ad hoc financial analyses as needed Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or business-related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Clinical Operations organizations. Clinical development finance experience. Knowledge of CRO, FSP, and clinical trial budgeting models. Experience working with SAP and enterprise planning systems. MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant advanced credentials.
