About the role

Bring your clinical expertise into the operating room and make a real impact on patient outcomes. As a Tendon Seam Field Clinical Specialist, you will be at the forefront of advanced soft tissue fixation, partnering with experienced surgeons and commercial teams to support best in class arthroscopic rotator cuff repair across the US field.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting surgical cases using the Soft Tissue Fixation System and acting as a subject matter expert in arthroscopic rotator cuff repair
  • Working closely with Tendon Seam Account Managers to plan, coordinate and deliver case support across targeted geographies
  • Proactively organizing support schedules to align with case volumes and business priorities
  • Collecting, compiling and communicating case data to support clinical and commercial insights
  • Managing inventory within the assigned territory and ensuring product availability
  • Executing billing processes accurately and in a timely manner
  • Attending and participating in required Tendon Seam training and development sessions
  • Representing Smith+Nephew professionally across a variety of markets and customer settings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a background in clinical, biological science or business preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the medical device industry
  • Strong knowledge of products, clinical pathways, surgical procedures and the competitive landscape
  • Commercial selling skills with solid business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities to identify root causes and drive improvements
  • A results oriented mindset with a proven ability to deliver on commitments

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $67,000 - $100,000USD annually (or hourly)
