About the role
The Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes within the Department of Internal Medicine is expanding its clinical programs at the University of Utah and the Utah Diabetes and Endocrinology Center. The position offers an academic faculty appointment commensurate with training and experience, with opportunities for clinical research, graduate medical teaching, and leadership in programs addressing diabetes, obesity, endocrine cancers, pituitary disease, metabolic bone disease, thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disorders.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive clinical care in endocrinology, including diabetes, obesity, endocrine cancers, pituitary disease, metabolic bone disease, thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disorders.
- Engage in clinical and translational research collaborations within the division’s active research portfolio.
- Teach graduate medical students and residents, contributing to the department’s educational mission.
- Develop and lead clinical programs at the Utah Diabetes and Endocrinology Center and the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes.
Qualifications
- Board‑certified in Internal Medicine.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Endocrinology.
- Eligibility for a medical license in the State of Utah.
