Clinical Educator, Home Care
About the role
Clinical Educators at BAYADA play a critical role in supporting the development and readiness of our field staff. The primary responsibility of this position is planning, leading, and evaluating clinical simulation scenarios within our lab environment to strengthen caregiver confidence, clinical judgment, technical skills, and patient safety. In this role, you will help translate clinical standards into practical, real-world learning experiences. You will create a supportive environment where nurses can practice skills, receive meaningful feedback, build independence, and prepare to care for clients with complex needs in the home.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, lead, and evaluate hands-on clinical simulation scenarios in the skills lab.
- Facilitate experiential learning activities that reflect real-world home care situations.
- Support new hire orientation, clinical onboarding, competency validation, and ongoing field staff development.
- Observe clinical performance, identify learning needs, and provide timely coaching and feedback.
- Reinforce BAYADA standards, policies, clinical best practices, and patient safety expectations.
- Partner with Clinical Managers and office leadership to support caregiver readiness and quality outcomes.
- Assist with performance improvement plans and targeted education based on identified opportunities.
- Conduct clinical chart reviews and contribute to utilization review reporting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of training, competency, and educational activities.
- Help promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, compassion, and excellence.

Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing; New Jersey licensure required.
- BSN or MSN preferred.
- Minimum of two years of staff development, nursing education, or a related clinical education experience.
- Experience with performance improvement plans, field staff orientation, clinical chart review, and utilization review reporting.
- Experience facilitating hands-on learning, skills validation, simulation, or scenario-based education preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, organization, and presentation skills.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and adapt teaching approaches to different learning styles.
- Demonstrated successful track record of working independently while taking on increased or diverse responsibilities.
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to professional, ethical, and safety standards.

Pay
Base salary of $95,000 per year.
