Clinical Education Operations Supervisor
Job Summary and Qualifications
The Clinical Education Operations Supervisor is responsible for organizing, directing, and implementing an infrastructure for a systems approach to the division Clinical Education Service Line. The role involves performing various management functions such as data entry, routine database maintenance, standard report generation, verification, and distribution, as well as support activities related to classroom coordination, registration oversight, documentation of participation, scheduling, and procurement of teaching materials.
Serves as the HealthStream and American Heart Association Training Center administrator. Helps create a superior clinical identity by supporting the clinical education team in operationalizing evidence-based practices to advance patient safety and quality outcomes. Ensures adherence to standards of care. Supports the achievement of internal/external benchmarks, accreditations and designations. Ensures policies, procedures, and practices are in compliance with all legal and regulatory standards. Ensures equipment maintenance is performed regularly and according to regulatory and/or accreditation standards.
Provides timely, accurate, and professional support to the clinical education team. Utilizes computers, computer systems, and audio/visual equipment effectively. Demonstrates familiarity with medical terminology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- 3+ years’ of experience in healthcare, education, business or finance
