Responsibilities
- Directs, coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within Imaging Services.
- Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines.
- In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents.
- Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-based activities and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology or Mammography
- Previous educator experience
- Previous lead or supervisory experience
- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Must be ARRT certified with advance certification in area of educational instruction)
- ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Upon Hire Required)
- NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech (Upon Hire Required)
- BCLS - Basic Life Support (Upon Hire Required)
