Clinical Documentation Specialist RN
This is a remote, full-time position on the day shift. Candidate must reside in Oregon, Washington, California, Texas, New Mexico, Idaho, or Montana.
About the role
The Clinical Documentation Specialist, Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for quality review of all OASIS admission documents and Plan of Care to ensure CMS program compliance is met. The role works closely with the Manager of Performance and Home Health leadership to promote regulatory compliance and excellent patient outcomes and reimbursement. The Clinical Documentation Specialist, RN serves as a role model, consultant, auditor, and OASIS expert to Home Health staff across the region.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality review of OASIS admission documents and Plan of Care for CMS program compliance.
- Collaborate with Home Health leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and improve patient outcomes and reimbursement.
- Act as a role model, consultant, auditor, and OASIS expert for Home Health staff.
Requirements
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire; license in any state where care is delivered.
- 2 years of nursing experience in Home Health or Palliative Care.
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (Homecare Homebase required; EPIC preferred).
Qualifications
- Education sufficient for licensure.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- OASIS certification (preferred).

Pay
Pay range: $50.14 - $77.83 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
