Clinical Documentation Specialist

About the role

Full-time, day‑shift Clinical Documentation Specialist (remote) responsible for reviewing medical records to ensure accurate representation of patient severity of illness and risk of mortality by improving physician documentation. The role involves extensive record review, interaction with physicians, HIM professionals, and nursing staff, active participation in team meetings, and education of medical, nursing, and ancillary staff.
