Responsibilities
- Ensure the competency of CDS staff through quality assurance and skill assessments
- Create policies, procedures, and educational materials for the CDI program
- Create educational programs to update CDSs and physicians on regulatory changes
- Collaborate with coding professionals to enhance outcomes
- Work with leadership on strategies for program and individual growth
- Oversee partnerships with vendors for effective CDI resources
- Deliver reports to clients and internal teams regularly
Qualifications
- Current RN Licensure required
- Minimum of two years CDI experience
- Strong interpersonal skills for communication
- Acute care or similar clinical setting experience
- Ability to organize and present information clearly
- Proficient in computer and keyboarding skills
- Advanced experience with AI usage in team management
