The Treatment & Detention Facility is a state-of-the-art secure residential treatment facility providing mental health services to over 500 detained and civilly committed adult sexual offenders.
Responsibilities
- Co-facilitating sex offender specific group treatment (approximately 15 hours per week)
- Managing a primary caseload of approximately 15 residents, including treatment planning and case conceptualizing
- Completing a minimum of six in-depth psychological batteries during the training year
- Administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological tests and writing comprehensive psychological evaluations for offenders entering sex-offender treatment
- Engaging in formal training opportunities such as monthly all-staff case conferences and group training in sexual offender treatment
Requirements
- Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
- Preference for experience with the Rorschach test, but not required
- Experience with civilly committed sexual offenders is not necessary
Qualifications
- Successfully pass all pre-employment security procedures required by the Illinois Department of Human Services and Liberty Healthcare
- Meet licensure eligibility requirements for the Illinois Licensed Associate Sex Offender Treatment Provider credential

Benefits
- Annual stipend of $55,000
