Clinical Director of Quality Management

About the role

The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, seeks a full-time Director for Quality Management to support its skilled nursing facility. The Parker Jewish Institute is a non‑profit health care facility offering inpatient sub‑acute/short‑term rehabilitation and long‑term care, as well as community health services including certified home health care and a comprehensive community hospice program serving terminally ill patients in their homes or nursing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of quality (performance) improvement activities for the organization.
• Oversee and coordinate all activities relating to regulatory and external compliance requirements.
• Act as a resource for regulatory standards interpretation and application.
• Conduct internal audits for regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (preferred) in a relevant health field.
• CPHQ certification a plus.
• At least five years’ clinical nursing experience and quality assurance or quality management experience.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of QAPI and QM principles and practices.
• Familiarity with State DOH and all applicable codes and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
