Around the Role

Responsibilities
- Assess student mental health needs
- Supervise individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Mentor and supervise designated staff members
- Monitor students with mental illness and/or receiving psychotropic medications
- Participate in Site Management and Treatment Committees
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid VA license (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT)
- Master’s degree required
- At least 5 years of experience working with children in a residential setting
- Pass a background screening, drug test, and physical
- A strong passion for working with and helping children
Qualifications
- Experience in a residential setting
- Ability to work with children with mental health issues
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of child development and psychology
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

$85,000 per year, negotiable based on experience and education
