Clinical Director
About the role
The Clinical Director is responsible for programming activities, providing support and development, and modeling position functions for the team. The Clinical Director also ensures that goals remain focused, recovery services are provided and linkage to ongoing recovery and treatment services are being made.
Responsibilities
- Provides short-and long-term recovery-oriented therapeutic counseling and education, on a group or individual basis.
- Provides family education and family counseling.
- Provides crisis management services and responds to urgent/emergent participant needs.
- Implements the transition/discharge care plan in partnership with each participant.
- Serves as onsite immediate supervisor for team members through role modeling and coaching.
- Completes clinical assessments and treatment plans for services.
- Completes clinical documentation and required paperwork as required.
- Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Ensures daily operations run smoothly and assures a healthy partnership with other stakeholders.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Independent State Licensure required.
- State designation as required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of full-time behavioral health experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements.
- Driving Requirements: If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations driving policy.
- If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.
- Travel required based on business need.
- Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.
- Able to pass a seven-year background check.
- Able to pass substance abuse testing and/or tuberculous testing (if applicable).
- Able to obtain designated fingerprinting clearance in applicable states.
- Able to complete the Direct Service Competency Checklist as part of the new hire onboarding process.
- Physical Demands: May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.
- Work Environment: May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.
Qualifications

Pay
$110,000.00 - $115,000.00 annually

Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM - Schedule Flexibility Required
