High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency committed to treating and preventing substance use disorders and mental illness. We offer a range of programs across Southeastern Massachusetts, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement goals and objectives for the CBHC program to meet performance specifications
- Implement and review policies and procedures on a regular basis
- Ensure oversight of CBHC performance specifications related to management of clinical staff hiring, and scheduling
- Monitor adequacy and appropriateness of patient (member) care
- Establish in-service training for staff in collaboration with training coordinators
- Develop quality management program in collaboration with Director of CQI and quality team
- Provide supervision to program staff and maintain supervisory notes
- Directly provide services to patients, including evaluations, individual, group, and family counseling, crisis management, and aftercare planning
- Monitor CBHC budget, payment models, and productivity of clinical staff
- Participate on assigned committees and prepare reports as needed
- Coordinate with other departments/facilities to enhance and ensure quality care
- Participate in budget development and monthly review process
- Routinely review patient charts to ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards
- Advertise, interview, hire, and train new clinical and support staff
- Prepare reports and correspondence in response to licensing and accreditation boards
- Collaborate and participate in meetings with other community organizations to enhance communication and service delivery within the community
- Provide ongoing clinical and daily administration of the Outpatient Program to ensure quality care
- Ensure confidentiality according to 42 CFR part 2 and HIPAA regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the CBHC Site Director and/or COO
Requirements
- Present as courteous and professional at all times
- Demonstrate flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks
- Have excellent communication skills, including the ability to organize ideas logically and clearly
- Work cooperatively and collaboratively with others
- Pass TB screening
- Be certified in the HPAO approved de-escalation program
- Show strong and effective verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Have basic computer skills and be able to learn, use, and train HPAO's electronic medical records
- Have knowledge of major clinical therapeutic models and behavioral health best practices
- Have strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Qualifications
- Independently licensed Behavioral Health Clinician, including: LMHC, LICSW, or LADC1
- Master/Doctoral degree in Human Services related field such as psychology or social work
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical supervisory experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of behavioral health counseling experience
