About the role
The Northern California Clinical Director position at Amae Health is responsible for leading the care delivery teams, programs, and systems across the Los Altos and San Mateo clinics. Reporting to the Regional VP, this role involves guiding and supporting teams in day-to-day management, overseeing admissions and intake processes, and leading an interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination.
Responsibilities
- Guide and support teams in day-to-day management with an eye toward scaling without compromising quality; craft strategic plans to evolve current procedures
- Actively oversee admissions and directly manage the intake process, assisting in the development of individualized treatment plans and level-of-care transitions
- Work hand-in-hand with the CMO, Medical Directors, and Clinical Operations Team to create, refine, and implement innovative processes
- Lead and supervise an interdisciplinary team; conduct daily care coordination meetings to oversee treatment plans
- Directly engage in the care of complex patients, offering support and intervention as needed
- Devise and implement strategic initiatives in partnership with clinical and operational stakeholders to elevate quality of care and cost-efficiency
- Proactively identify and address issues and document lessons for future processes
Requirements
- Unrestricted registered license as a Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in the state of California
- Prior experience working with SMI, other mental health challenges, and addiction; experience creating personalized treatment plans
- Holistic perspective on health and ability to work effectively in various settings with diverse populations
- Excellent communication skills and comfort in one-on-one or group settings
- Strong leadership, coaching, and negotiation capacity
- Well-organized approach with experience in planning and designing events and activities
- Basic computer proficiency
- Familiarity with the medical, mental health, and social service systems in the Bay Area preferred

Pay
Base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $155,000.
Schedule
