Clinical Dietitian Senior PRN

Duties & Responsibilities

• Affirms medical nutrition therapy using established standards and evidence.
• Collaborates with committees, task forces, and workgroups.
• Gathers and utilizes data to develop processes for improving CN services/outcomes.
• Facilitates connections for other RDs and supports their involvement in professional activities.
• Models standards of behavior, NFPE process, advanced interviewing, education, and/or counseling strategies.
• Mentors team members and supports their professional growth, skill development, responsibility, accountability, quality improvement, and research process.
• Assists in achieving departmental financial budget targets.
• Incorporates principles of culture-competence and family-centered care.
• Trains and observes RDs, interns, and students in their clinical practice.
• Provides feedback to enhance understanding and compliance.
• Promotes teamwork to achieve positive patient and client outcomes across the organization and/or within the department.
• Connects with Clinical Nutrition team members and other disciplines to identify issues, solutions, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensures compliance with established regulatory standards and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Accurately documents patient care and tracks time/activities for benchmarking, billing, and/or productivity.
• Participates in advocacy, leads policy and procedure review, quality improvement, and/or research.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of clinical nutrition experience.

Pay

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Hourly Range: $32.72 to $49.09.

Schedule

Variable shifts/ as needed (shifts are anticipated to be 8am-4:30pm Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursdays).
