Clinical Dietitian PRN

Under the supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager, provides total nutritional care as a member of the health care team. The Clinical Dietitian assesses nutritional needs of patients; develops and implements nutritional care plans; and communicates information pertinent to the nutritional care of the patient through written records systems. Provides high-quality care to patients, develops and maintains regular and therapeutic meals/menus, and offers nutrition counseling to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs of patients.
• Develop and implement nutritional care plans.
• Communicate pertinent nutritional information through written records systems.
• Provide high-quality care to patients.
• Develop and maintain regular and therapeutic meals/menus.
• Provide nutrition counseling to patients of all age groups and their families/significant others.
• Participate in the supervision of Nutrition Services Personnel.
• Fulfill the objectives of the Food and Nutrition Services daily.

Requirements

• Licensed Dietitian
• Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Bachelor's Degree
