About the role
This unique role offers variety and impact, with time split between Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV (three days a week) and Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV (two days a week).
Responsibilities
- Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
- Practice at your full scope with order writing privileges
- Perform quality improvement initiatives
- Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in WV (or eligible)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Be a self-starter and a team player
- Work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
Qualifications
- Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND
- For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND
- Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
