Responsibilities
- Lead early-phase clinical development of oncology compounds
- Design early clinical development strategies for therapeutic candidates
- Prepare clinical documents, including protocols and regulatory submissions
- Evaluate clinical study safety and efficacy data
- Collaborate with internal teams across various functions
- Assess external licensing opportunities in oncology
- Provide strategic guidance by collaborating with external experts
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- 2 years of industry or academic clinical research/drug development experience
- Board certification or eligibility in Oncology preferred
- 3+ years of relevant drug development experience in the pharmaceutical industry or academia
- Experience in designing, monitoring, and implementing clinical trials
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders
