Clinical Dentist - Adjunct

About the role

The Adjunct Clinical Dentist supports the Director of Allied Dental in classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction. The position provides clinical dentistry services and instruction to Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting students, including local anesthetic administration for Dental Hygiene students. The individual provides clinical supervision, guidance, and evaluation to ensure students develop safe and competent clinical skills. The position also maintains positive, professional relationships with students, faculty, staff, patients, and clinical affiliates while supporting a high quality educational experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in program assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation activities to support continuous improvement of instructional quality and program outcomes.
• Provide classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction and supervision to support student development of clinical and technical skill proficiency.
