Clinical Data Specialist
Job Description
Reporting to the WW Director, Medical Affairs, the Spec 1, Clinical Data will gain valuable, real-world exposure to the Core Injection and Digital Health platforms within Diabetes Care Medical Affairs (DCMA). Under the guidance of a DCMA team member, the Spec 1, Clinical Data will assist with reviewing customer-facing materials for medical accuracy.
- Assist in the planning and execution of international conferences and support Medical Affairs activities during conferences.
- Interface with multiple cross-functional teams and workstreams.
- Assists and supports Medical Affairs’ business initiatives under the supervision and guidance of the WW Director of Medical Affairs Core Injection and Digital Health Platforms including:
- Retrieving, collating, and interpreting scientific literature and Medical Insights for periodic literature surveillance
- Under the guidance of a DCMA associate, reviewing U.S. and Global promotional material for clinical accuracy within the Promotional Review Committee
- Assisting with congress (ADA, ATTD, ADCES) planning and reporting activities
- Working with pipeline product core teams to provide clinical input on product design, clinical trial planning, and help generate patient-facing content (instructions for use, educational content, etc.)
- Participate in medical updates, scientific presentations, teleconferences, and meetings as requested.
Requirements
The Spec 1, Clinical Data must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Biomedical Science, Pharmacy, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Knowledge of diabetes care and digital health platforms.
- Experience with scientific literature review and analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
