Clinical Data Quality & Abstraction Lead
About Us
Savant is transforming how healthcare and life sciences organizations unlock the value trapped in unstructured medical data. Our platform combines cutting-edge large language models (LLMs) with domain-specific quality controls to convert free-text clinical records into structured, analysis-ready data — efficiently, accurately, and at scale. We work with leading institutions across healthcare, life sciences, and research, supporting faster studies, sharper insights, and better care. Backed by Roivant (NASDAQ: ROIV), Savant is built for organizations that see structured data not just as an output, but as a foundation for innovation.
The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Clinical Data Quality & Abstraction Lead to own the clinical accuracy and reliability of the data Savant delivers. You’ll sit at the intersection of clinical operations, abstraction strategy, and quality assurance — helping ensure that the structured outputs we generate meet the highest bar for precision and consistency. This role is ideal for someone who understands both the clinical nuance of chart review and the operational discipline of QA. You’ll define what “good” looks like — and build the processes, feedback loops, and tooling that help us achieve it across every project.
What You’ll Do
- Define clinical data quality standards and lead abstraction QA processes across projects
- Review structured outputs against source documentation to ensure accuracy, context preservation, and clinical fidelity
- Build workflows and SOPs to support consistent, reproducible abstraction across disease areas
- Collaborate with clinical SMEs, engineers, and product teams to iterate on extraction logic and edge-case handling
- Identify discrepancies, trends, and system-level gaps — and design solutions to improve reliability at scale
- Support onboarding of new clinical projects and ensure abstraction guidelines are clear, auditable, and aligned with partner expectations
Why This Role Is Different
- High-impact, high-visibility: the data you validate supports research, care, and product decisions
- Blend of clinical insight and operational ownership: you set the quality bar and help the system reach it
- Autonomy and trust: own a core function in a mission-driven, fast-moving company
- Build what you always wished existed: better tools, clearer rules, smarter workflows
