Clinical Data Manager II

Job Summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Clinical Data Manager II to support a medical device company. The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $38.94 - $48.65/hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data management for clinical studies — from startup to closeout.
• Lead data cleaning strategies, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure data integrity across all study phases.
• Author and manage DMPs, CRF guidelines, edit check specs, and data review guidelines.
• Lead EDC database UAT and oversee study deliverables.
• Perform ongoing data review to identify quality issues, trends, and outliers; generate queries as needed.
• Review SAS/SDTM datasets and collaborate with programming on custom reports.
• Represent Data Management in study team meetings and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Contribute to training materials and departmental process development.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of CDM experience in Pharma, Biotech, Medical Device, or CRO.
• Hands-on EDC experience (Inform, RAVE, iMedNet, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of FDA/ICH guidelines and CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM).
• Experience authoring DM documentation; strong project management and communication skills.
• SQL, SAS, or Excel a plus; Ophthalmology experience preferred.
• BS or higher in biological science, nursing, or health-related field preferred.
• Any experience with direct Ophthalmology studies is highly preferred.
