Responsibilities
- Analyze transactional and operational data to uncover unusual behavior, emerging fraud trends, and potential risk indicators.
- Investigate suspicious activity by reviewing datasets, validating anomalies, and organizing findings for follow-up action.
- Develop reports and dashboards that help stakeholders monitor fraud patterns and measure the effectiveness of prevention efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to interpret analytical results and support fraud mitigation decisions.
- Use data-driven methods to identify weaknesses in current controls and recommend improvements that reduce exposure.
- Maintain accurate documentation of analyses, case findings, and supporting evidence to assist ongoing investigations.
- Monitor key fraud metrics and highlight changes that may require deeper review or immediate escalation.
Requirements
- Experience working in data analysis roles with a focus on fraud, risk, or investigative environments.
- Practical knowledge of fraud analytics, suspected fraud review, and anti-fraud principles.
- Ability to assess large datasets, detect irregular patterns, and draw well-supported conclusions.
- Familiarity with fraud investigation processes and documenting findings in a clear, organized manner.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in using data tools and reporting methods to support ongoing analysis and monitoring.
