CLINICAL COUNSELOR - Mule Creek State Prison (MCSP)

Duties

• Apply counseling interventions and psychotherapeutic techniques within the scope of applicable Business and Professions Code(s) and license.
• Work preventatively with the incarcerated population, including those not in the mental health delivery system.
• Provide incarcerated patients access, outreach, and prevention wellness strategies.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Applicants must hold a valid California Clinical Social Work License (LCSW) or a valid California Marriage and Family Therapy License (LMFT).
• Experience in working with incarcerated populations.
• Knowledge of mental health principles and practices.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Benefits

The monthly part-time salary range for this position is $3,647 to $5,189.

Individuals may be eligible to receive a $10,000 one-time recruitment and retention stipend and a monthly recruitment and retention differential totaling $20,000 during their first year with CCHCS.

Additionally, individuals may be eligible for a $5,000 referral bonus if they are selected for hire and remain employed with CCHCS for 90 days.

Pay

The monthly part-time salary range for this position is $3,647 to $5,189.
