About the role
We invite compassionate and dedicated professionals to join our team as a Clinical Counselor. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in providing guidance, consulting with applicable patients throughout the inpatient units and the Emergency Department and developing and implementing individualized therapeutic interventions. Interventions may include a combination of individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and aiding in the development of a discharge plan to support ongoing recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and consultation to patients on inpatient units and in the Emergency Department
- Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions
- Aid in the development of a discharge plan to support ongoing recovery
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant human services field such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited school of graduate education
- Active North Carolina licensure in respective discipline, or provisional licensure with active supervision toward obtaining full licensure
- Maintain CPI and BLS certifications
Qualifications
- Must have a Master's degree in a relevant human services field

Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health and substance abuse treatment
