About the role
Provide individual and group counseling for university students experiencing personal/emotional and career problems. The staff member will perform administrative duties, provide emergency/crisis intervention, provide consultation to members of the university community, provide educational outreach programs, and periodically have the opportunity to supervise practicum and intern graduate students.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional evenings and weekends depending on staffing needs of department. Appointment Length 10 months.
Salary
Hiring Range $55,000 - $72,150

Required Qualifications
- Master's Psychology, Counseling, or related field (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
- Experience in outpatient clinical counseling either through an education degree program or professional work.
- Oklahoma license eligible as a Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor by the end of the second year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D./Ed.D. Psychology, Counseling, or related field
- One year of related experience in a university counseling center.
Certifications, Registrations, And/or Licenses
- Oklahoma license eligible as a psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist.
- Licenses must be obtained prior to hire and maintained throughout employment.
