Summary

The School-Based Clinical-Coordinator (SBCC) leads a team of direct-service professionals to support the mental wellness, school attendance, and academic progress of students. This role involves providing individual and group therapy, supervising staff, collaborating with school staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Manage outcome data and ensure efficient data collection systems.
  • Conduct intakes and provide individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Supervise direct-service staff such as Youth Advocates and College Career Advisors.
  • Provide training, support, and collaboration with teachers, counselors, and families.
  • Deliver evidence-based treatments like Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT).
  • Collaborate with school staff and faculty on referrals, progress monitoring, events, and crises.
  • Assign work, set productivity levels, and communicate expectations to staff.
  • Complete and review documentation, progress notes, and quarterly treatment plans.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • LMSW or Limited Permit certification.
  • Bilingual in one or more languages: Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bengali, and others, strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to plan and carry out tasks independently.
  • Ability to prioritize, adhere to timelines, and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SIFI certification or pursuing certification.
  • Experience with trauma work and evidence-based treatments.
  • Knowledge of youth development.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record System.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at building and maintaining relationships with diverse groups.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk, sit for long periods, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk or hear.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
