About the role
The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the clinical department, ensuring that all procedures are conducted efficiently and in compliance with healthcare standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee scheduling of appointments and procedures
- Manage inventory and supplies
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient care
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing and insurance verification
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Current certification in Medical Coding (optional but preferred)
- Experience with electronic health records systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines
