Clinical Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain compliance with federal and state rules, regulations, laws and standards for BayMark clinic operations.
• Perform audits of clinical services, develop auditing tools, serve as point of contact for auditors, and oversee compliance with corrective action plans.
• Maintain current knowledge of rules and regulations and disseminate regulatory and legislative updates.
• Partner with the Chief Clinical Compliance Officer to develop or revise policies and procedures related to state and federal regulations.
• Alert management to deficiencies or serious non‑compliance issues that pose high risk.
• Assist with compliance, policy, and procedural development for new and acquired clinics as requested.
• Participate in the company performance improvement process, collaborate with clinic directors to meet objectives, and provide management reporting.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of college education; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
• Nursing or counseling licensure/certification preferred; prior compliance experience.
• Experience with health‑care survey processes such as JCAHO, CARF, Medicare, and/or state licensing surveys.
• Understanding of clinic operations.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, federal, state, CARF and/or JCAHO standards and regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to work in an interdisciplinary setting.
• Ability to work with little supervision and strong organizational skills.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
• Ability to travel 50%–70%.
